Randy and Debbie Paul took their favorite hobby, wine making, and turned it something they could share with friends and the public. Stone Villa Wine Cellars opened to the public in August of 2000, and is located on 150 acres of picturesque land in the foothills of the Laurel Highlands.
Family is an integral part of the Stone Villa tradition. Randy's grandparents were wine makers and stone masons. A favorite memory of Randy's includes picking dandelions for his grandmother (for just a nickel per jar!) who would then turn them into dandelion wine. Honoring family traditions led to the naming of Stone Villa Wine Cellars.
The buildings were all constructed with careful attention to detail and designed to compliment the natural landscape. All of the masonry work was completed by Randy’s father Jimmy Paul. The lake was dugout by Randy himself and Debbie carefully tends to the landscaping that allows the buildings to seamlessly transition to Stone Villa's outdoor entertainment space.
Most events at Stone Villa are family friendly. We invite you to join us for a bottle of wine and picnic on our outdoor patio. Most weekends include musical entertainment and some events include food vendors. (Check our facebook page for scheduled events.)
